Custom construction of screen doors. Looking for something exceptional? Doors can be made from 1” to 1&5/8” thick. Compliment your home with true 19th century technology. All joinery is mortise and tenon for longevity and to resist sagging. Doors can be painted or stained.
Door fitting and installation.
I offer door installation of my own doors or from other makers. I’ll do a site visit to make sure there are no issues with getting the door installed and take the measurements. I specialize in making perfectly square doors fit in the charming non-square door jambs of your home. All my installations come with six months of follow up for seasonal adjustments.
Custom Finishing
Screen doors can be finished or painted. Standard finishes are Penofin or Osmo, custom staining is available. If a painted door is preferred , you pick the color and I’ll paint it..
Screen door repair and refinishing.
All doors need some love from time to time. Maybe some damage needs to be fixed or it needs new hardware. A fresh sanding and a refinish will bring it back to its old glory. I’ve seen pretty much everything and can get your door back into shape.
